Hello! My name is Dilini Rathnayaka, and I am the proud owner of Happy Hive Family Daycare. I am a Certified Associate Teacher with over 10 years of experience working with young children in a Montessori school environment, and I am also a proud mom of two adorable children.
Working with children has always been more than just a career for me — it is truly my passion. I love creating a warm, nurturing, and encouraging environment where children feel safe, happy, and confident to learn and grow at their own pace.
Happy Hive is a small, family-style daycare run from our cozy home in Simi Valley. We are officially licensed by the State of California (License #566217820), and every detail — from our outdoor space to our daily routines — has been thoughtfully designed for the safety, comfort, and growth of every child in my care.
As both an educator and a mother, I understand how important it is for families to find childcare they can truly trust. Whether your little one is just starting to crawl or already off to elementary school, they will be welcomed, valued, and gently encouraged every step of the way.
At Happy Hive Family Daycare, my goal is to provide a loving "home away from home" where children can explore, play, learn, and create beautiful childhood memories each day.
